Update for the Bios

HI there,

I am aware that there is an issue with the bios/Intel CPU 13th generation and I am wondering how to get the update for my laptop. I open the HP Support Assistant but it is not giving me any option to update my BIOS to correct this known issue.
Can you please provide me with teh right file to download and how to install it? THank you

Hi @Elohi_NR,

Thank you for your help.  I am following your steps, and it is giving me 2 options to download for my Bios.  one fore HP Notebook System BIOS Update (Intel Core H45 Processors) and the other for HP Notebook System BIOS Update (Intel Core HX55 Processors). Which one of the 2 should I download? I do not know the difference berween H45 and HX55. Thanks in advance

Did you ever figure out how to tell which chipset you have? I'm up against the same conundrum at the moment. Thanks!

did you figured out what HX45 and HX55 meant ? I think I downloaded the wrong bios version, since my laptop is dying
