Product: HP Notebook - 17-by0086cl
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11
Laptop startup screen said to go to http://www.hp.com/go/techcenter/PCDiags
to upgrade from version 7.2.1.0 but it takes me to screen that says "Ooops! Soomething's messed up". Called tech support, got Case 5137595209 but go no help to download new version. Said that my laptop was out of warranty, and I needed to pay for support or take it to repair shop. This is all ridiculous as I should be able to go to the HP website and download the new version as instructed on the boot up screen. I have downloaded BIOS upgrade a couple of weeks ago with no problem and don't know why I can't just download the newer version of the Hardware Diagnostics Tool.
