Hi! I urgently need help. I've a HP 15-da0295tu model laptop with windows 11 installed.
So, when I press power button, there's no screen lighting up but only a black screen. Fans aren't working as well. After a few seconds, a single beep sound can be heard after every 30-60 sec. Plus, Caps Lock button flickering in a continuous pattern. (3 slow blinks and then a quick double blink)
It has a non-removable battery.
After trying BIOS reset and power reset few times, now there's no beeping sound nor Caps Lock is flickering. I've tried other methods with pressing different combination of buttons (holding F2, F8, F12, F10, win+b, fb+esc etc.) But the screen remains same.
The battery had some issues (just slow charging) but it should run at least on direct power source.
I've exams from next week and I need my laptop to prepare for the exams 😭. Pls help!

Hello @Fabio_L32,
Thank you for the help. 🙏🏻
So today, I visited one of the technical support nearby me. It seems like, the issue was with my RAM 😕
They removed the RAM, rubbed its edge with an eraser to clean it and placed it back in. And it worked out 😄
[If anyone struggling with the similar issues, don't forget to use this method.]
And finally, I can prepare for the exams. Wish me luck🤞🏻
Thank you again and have a wonderful day✌🏻

Hello, T-Zec, how are you ?
Apparently according to your description, this could be one of the memories or the existing memory.
Can you test with another one

Hello @Fabio_L32,
I'm (not) fine, (un)fortunately. Thank you for asking.
Today I tried those different methods again and holding fn + esc while starting my laptop worked out for a moment as a screen popped up mentioning "BIOS Initialize". But sooner, everything went blank but the backlight was still on. And now, it's not turning off at all. The screen is lit even after I closed it. Plus, it's charging led is on (white) too. Holding power button won't help as I tried already so many times to turn it off.
Now I'm just praying and waiting for when it'll run out of fuel so I can try again.🤞🏻

Hello,
I recommend that you check if a technical assistant can help you.
Laptop is a warranty ?

Hello again @Fabio_L32,
Actually that's the major problem that I can't find any technical support as all their mentioned contact numbers are invalid (such a shame). It's not in warranty either. If you could provide any contact information that'd be a relief.
As for the condition, I'm so confused what's actually happening to my pc. Sometimes there is only a black screen and sometimes backlight is on even it is closed. And now, after reattaching Li-on battery and other components and the BIOS update, it's functioning as normal but the backlight is off so you can't actually see what's happening on the screen as long as you don't use a flashlight on it. Since back then, I could see the backlight light working and now not, I don't think display is completely useless as this problem happened with me once before and there were some minor issues with the cable and reattaching it fixed the issue at that time. (I've already tried this though)
