HP 17.3 inch Laptop PC 17-cp0000 (2Q7W8AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

I have a HP Laptop (PC17-cp0035cl and a wireless Logitech K350 keyboard and mouse.  I use my laptop like a desktop device most days with the keyboard and a HDMI LG32 inch monitor.  I shutdown my laptop every night (Win11 gets very sloppy after a few days of running).  My keyboard has a power-on button and I would like to use it.  I think there is a way to keep the Logitech USB Unifying receiver active even when the Laptop is shutdown.  My issue is I don't know how to make this type of setting change.  Does anyone know this answer or my real question; how do I turn on the laptop without having to lift the top open?  Opening the top to just push a button doesn't make sense to me.

Unfortunately no, no other options. You have to lift the light to power on your machine. Some other notebooks can power on from the dock.

Thank you for the quick response.  I purchased this laptop from Costco, so it's easy to return.  Can you recommend a couple of other HP Laptops that can be turned on and off without lifting the screen?  I can't see me doing this for the next five years before I get another new laptop.

Again, Thanks, Steve
