HP Spectre
Microsoft Windows 11

A friend spilled water all over my laptop about 2 hours ago. I dried it off and it worked for a bit, despite having to restart for the keyboard and mouse to work. Now I am home and the laptop won’t turn on. When I click the power button on the side, the keyboard lights up and the caps lock light blinks three times slowly, then thrice fast. The screen is black the entire time. Is there anything I can do to fix my laptop?

Hi@Sachit21,

Welcome to the HP Support Community! I'd like to help!

I see you are experiencing no power issues with the HP Spectre x360 Notebook after water damage. It is a hardware issue on the PC caused by accident.

As we have limited support boundaries in the support community as of now. I would request you to contact our HP Support Engineers and should be able to sort this out. HP provides repair or service options for out of warranty products as well. Hence I encourage you to contact HP support for all warranty service options.

Please reach out to the HP Technical Support team in your region regarding the service/replacement options.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
