Microsoft Windows 11

Hi everyone,

I’m running a dual-boot setup on my HP Pavilion Gaming laptop with Debian installed on an NVMe drive and Windows 11 on a SATA drive. My current boot order is set to prioritize the NVMe drive, followed by the SATA drive.

Here’s the issue: after my laptop has been in sleep mode on Windows 11 for more than an hour, it boots into Debian instead of resuming Windows. This problem doesn’t occur if I wake the laptop within about 5 minutes of it entering sleep mode.

To get around this, I have to manually select the SATA drive in the bootloader menu to resume Windows. I would like Windows to resume automatically without having to explicitly select it each time.

Does anyone know why this happens and how I can configure my system to resume Windows automatically after a long sleep period?

Thanks in advance for your help!
