Hi @Steeve-123,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
If your HP Victus 15 is again showing the “Boot device not found” error after a recent repair, it strongly suggests a recurring hardware issue—most likely with the SSD/HDD, SATA/NVMe connection, or motherboard storage controller.
1. Run HP Hardware Diagnostics
- Power off the laptop.
- Turn it on and immediately press F2 repeatedly.
- Run the Storage Test and System Test.
- If the SSD fails or is not detected, it confirms a hardware issue.
2. Check BIOS Boot Order
- Press F10 at startup to enter BIOS.
- Go to Boot Options and ensure your SSD is listed and set as the first boot device.
- If it’s not listed, the drive may be disconnected or dead.
3. Reinstall Windows (if SSD is detected)
- If the SSD is detected but unbootable, you can:
- Create a bootable USB using the Windows Media Creation Tool.
- Boot from USB and reinstall Windows.
I hope this helps.
Take care, and have an amazing day!
