Hi @Milikelvin

If you encounter a message from Chrome stating that the HP Network Check Launcher was disabled, this typically means that the browser has disabled the plugin or extension due to compatibility or security reasons. Here’s what you can do:

  1. Check Chrome Extensions:

    • Open Chrome and type chrome://extensions/ in the address bar.
    • Look for the HP Network Check Launcher in the list of extensions.
    • If it’s disabled, you can try enabling it by toggling the switch to the right. However, note that if Chrome continues to disable it, it might not be compatible.
  2. Update Chrome:

    • Ensure that you’re running the latest version of Chrome. Updates often include patches for compatibility and security.
    • Go to chrome://settings/help to check for and apply any updates.
  3. Reinstall HP Support Assistant:

    • The HP Network Check is a part of the HP Support Assistant. Try uninstalling and then reinstalling the HP Support Assistant to ensure all components are updated.
    • Download the latest version from the HP Support website.
  4. Use Alternative Network Troubleshooting:

    • If the HP Network Check Launcher is not working, you can use the Windows built-in network troubleshooting tools.
    • Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Status and select "Network troubleshooter."
  5. Consider Alternative Browsers:

    • If the extension is crucial for your work, consider using a different browser that may support the HP Network Check Launcher without issues.
