Please help.
Ad I try to turn on my PC, an automatic restart keeps appening, and I'm stuck in an endless loop.
I've tried anything, but nothing seems to work.
Also I have a question. If I choose to keep my files ( remove apps and setting , but keep personal filrs), do I lose Microsoft Word, Excel and so on? I've paid them and I don't want to lose them.

Thanks for all the help.

Yes, sorry. Probably best hope of recovering any files will be removing the drive, attach it to a sata to usb adapter or usb hdd enclosure then plug it into usb port of a working machine. If there is any life left in the drive you may be able to browse it and copy files over to drive of host machine.

If you purchased license for Office you should be able to reinstall and activate it:

I bought that three years ago, but I can't log to my account and I can't remember the password. I tried to change it but I failed. BTW, do I lose word if I reset my pc? (I'm talking about a BLOD that add a choice to keep or remove personal data)

@Rluca

1-Reset removes apps -such as office apps.

2-Do you use Microsoft acct to logon to laptop? If so the same acct and password should work at Office site.

3-Have you run Diagnostics on your laptop? Immediately after powering on start tapping the Esc key. This will open a menu where F2 System Diagnostics is an option. Tap F2 key and run the tests.

I did a fast test and it failed on the hard drive short DST check.
I'll put the FAILURE I'D here:

I'll run other tests in around 20/30 mins

If you get a failed on Short DST- the hard drive has failed/is failing and will need to be replaced. If you are still in warranty HP will replace it. If not a retail 2.5" laptop SATA hard drive can be used-Western Digital,Seagate,Toshiba,etc

This of course means Reset is not likely to work.
