Product: HP Compaq dx2480 MT
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I want to format my PC. But I have a second hand old pc. Its BIOS Version is V1.14 and I saw youtube videos to format my PC. But their system of format(bios setup and boot menu) is different from me. So I am getting problem in formating. Plz help

First off, you do not format a PC; instead, you format a drive.


Second, you do not do that from the BIOS, but boot into a formatting tool and use that.

 

Third, if what you want to do is install a Windows OS on the drive, the Windows installer is capable of formatting the drive and you do not need a separate tool for this.

Ok. But see. here there are two options F10 for SETUP and F9 for BOOT MENU. So where to go for formating my windows disk(Local Disk C)
