Hello there, 

 

My Laptops OS cannot start. When I boot the machine it quickly switches to blue screen with troubleshooting options. 

 

The quick diagnostic test found that the battery is for replacement showing the following error:

 

Battery Check: Primary - Replace (42)

Failure ID: QC5PH1-988BQP-MFGJ3A-C0CQ03

PRODUCT ID: 2FH28AV

System Quick Test: Failed

Current version: 6.6.0.0

 

The battery is not removable. What can I do with about this issue? Am I not gonna be able to use my laptop without fixing the battery. If I open the lid and remove the battery is it going to be able to start?

The laptop is out of warranty.
