Hi @Ladybug_76,🐞
Looks like your device decided to go on strike with that blank screen issue, what a mystery!
But don’t worry, together we’ll get it buzzing back to life! ✨
Before we dive into the fix, could you tell me a bit more about the device? What kind of device is it (laptop, desktop, or something else)? And was it during or after an update that the screen went blank? Any extra details will help me guide you better!
Meanwhile, here are a few general troubleshooting steps to try:
1. Check the Power Source:
- Make sure your device is plugged in, and the power cable is securely connected. Sometimes it’s the simplest things that slip by!
2. Perform a Hard Reset:
- If you have a laptop, unplug it and hold down the power button for about 10-15 seconds. This can sometimes reset the hardware and clear any glitches. If you’re on a desktop, just give it a little unplug and plug-in action after waiting a minute.
3. External Display Test (for Laptops):
- Try connecting your laptop to an external monitor or TV. This can help us figure out if the issue is with the display itself or the device’s power.
4. Check for Signs of Power:
- Look for any lights or sounds when you press the power button. If you hear a fan or see any LEDs light up, it could be a display issue rather than a power problem.
5. Boot into Safe Mode:
- If you can see something, but it’s just black and unresponsive, try booting in Safe Mode. This might let you undo any changes from the recent update.
Let me know if any of these steps get things moving, and feel free to share any extra details about your device, let’s crack this case together! 🕵
We can make this issue disappear and get your device flying high again! 🦋
We hope our assistance has been helpful!
Take care and have an amazing day!
