Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

So to summarise, I got my Pavilion dv7 last year, and it had some problems with its fan, it randomly shuts down, few moments after unplugging it, and to prevent random shutdowns, i pour cold liquids  on the edges, and last months, it happened, and i had nothing on me but acetone, and i used it, but it resulted in frying of the keyboard keys, and the touchpad. but the computer still works, but. Once It shut down, and when i opened it, it started beeping quite loudly, long beeps and short beeps, and i don't know how to fix it. and that beep only happens after the sudden shutting down, i does not when i turn it off normally, and i don't know if that problem is from the apps i use, Hard disk or the keyboard. and before you judge me, i am just a kid.

Hi @Clove-

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd like to help!

These beeping loudly, long beeps, and short beeps indicate a hardware issue.

But the support here is limited to software troubleshooting. However, since the unit might need repair, I would request you to contact HP Phone support who would have the option to schedule a repair as per the warranty and the issue can be fixed.

For that to happen, we will give you additional instructions/information via Private Message.

Please check your inbox on the forums page for the private message.

If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the Accepted Solution button, that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!
