Product: HP notebook 14-am052nr

Upon entering a random password or just a space/blank you get a halt code, mine is [i 78513539] entering the number on bios-pw.org doesnt do me any good for this computer which is unreal, ive never gotten a password that didnt work before. Any solutions available for this system disabled code?

Unfortunately, we are longer allowed to help with removing passwords.

 

The HP Forum Rules of Participation were amended on 1 March 2019 in the document at the following link.

Rule 4d. No posts shall include instructions or directions intended to bypass or subvert security measures, including passwords, locking mechanisms, fingerprint scans, etc., or to bypass any safety measures.

 

We were given the following as HP's official stance on giving password help

Power On / BIOS Password

    • HP does not capture or retain any BIOS password data, so hp cannot recover your local BIOS Password
    • HP can remove the Password via a service of the Notebook
    • You can contact HP Support to set this up. Options vary depending on location and warranty status (Service fee may apply)
