Hello. I wanted to replace the hard drive in the laptop, but unfortunately I found that the BIOS set the password. Tell me, please, how to unblock the BIOS.

Unfortunately the proposed solution did not help.

 

"The current BIOS does not support this feature"

 

Below in this thread, there is a way to update the BIOS, but I do not understand it.

Thanks for the help! I updated the BIOS from the OS. Fortunately the old hard drive allowed to download windows. After the update, the described method worked.
