@MishaKapkan, Welcome to the HP Support Community – it’s great to have you here!

I appreciate you taking the time to share your question. I'm more than happy to assist with this and provide a solution that works for you.

If your HP Notebook's BIOS is corrupted and recovery attempts using a USB flash drive and key combinations haven't worked, here are some steps you can follow to try and restore functionality:

Prepare the USB Recovery Drive

You’ll need another working PC to create the recovery media.

Download the latest BIOS for your notebook from HP’s support site: Official HP® Support

Use the HP BIOS Update utility to extract the .bin and .fd files:

  • Run the downloaded BIOS update EXE.
  • When prompted, choose "Copy BIOS to USB flash drive".
  • This will create a recovery USB with the correct files and folder structure.

Perform BIOS Recovery Using Key Combination

  • Insert the USB recovery drive into the notebook.
  • Disconnect the AC adapter and remove the battery (if removable).
  • Press and hold Windows key + B (or V, depending on model), then plug in the AC adapter.
  • While holding the keys, press and hold the power button for 2–3 seconds, then release the power button but keep holding the keys for another 10 seconds.
  • If successful, the BIOS recovery screen should appear.

If Windows+B doesn’t work, try Windows+V.

Let the Recovery Complete

  • If the recovery screen appears, follow the on-screen instructions.
  • The notebook may restart several times. Do not interrupt the process.

If the notebook doesn’t respond at all (no lights, no fan), it may require service. In that case, please visit the nearest HP authorized service center, the service team will check and assist you.
Kindly follow this link to locate the nearest HP service center: ® HP Service Center Locator - Ukraine | HP® Support
