bios password problem

Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

my bios has an admin password even after i reset it

i dont know if there is a default password

and i cant get useful thing from HP Support

its driving me crazy for a long time 

thank you anyway

Hi:

 

Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do to help you, since HP will no longer supply the required SMC.bin file that is used to clear the BIOS password.

 

That was the only way it could be done.

 

Removing the CMOS battery will not clear the P/W.

Also the forum rules were amended on 1 March 2019, which no longer allow us to help with removing passwords.
