i’ve been unable to log on to my computer because a black screen appears after the HP logo’s loading process. i’ve already determined that it’s probably not the RAM or the LCD, and i’ve tried using the windows boot analysis you get from f12ing. i’m about to factory reset because i’m desperate at this point, any help would be greatly appreciated

update: i tried factory resetting, but there was an error somehow and it didn’t go through.

update 2: tried it again after doing diagnostic checks, still nothing. when i try to do it through the HP version, it says i don’t have enough space when i try to reset

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help,

I understand that your HP notebook is not working correctly. I appreciate your efforts to try and resolve the issue.
This seems like a corrupted OS. The last thing I can suggest try and restore the OS back to the factory default, which will isolate whether it’s a software or hardware issue.  The HP Cloud Recovery Tool allows you to download recovery software to a USB drive. You can use the downloaded recovery image file in order to install the Windows operating system.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
