Product: model14-bs560Tu

hi guys! need your help.. can my laptop hP icore 3 be used without a battery? model is model14-bs560TU.. it started since i got a black screen and it wont turn on anymore.. led blinks and capslock blinks sometimes it doesnt.. since it acts differently when i insert the power supply and when i dont.. when i have the power supply with the battery inside and i push the power button the power light just blinks once and it doesnt anymore.. next is if the power supply is not connected and the battery is inside the power light is steadily on not blinking and the fan is on.. so its a matter of power supply or battery.. so i tried if it will work without the battery and same thing if power supply is connected it just blinks once.. so does my unit work with only power supply without the battery? coz if it does which it doesnt anymore right now the power supply might be the problem.. if not maybe the battery..
