HP Notebook-15-ac121dx

This is a friend's computer, she paid a tech to fix it, he put in a new external battery and anti-virus.  She didn't use it for a few weeks then when she did it starts but has blank screen (Tech not returning calls).  We tried hard reset, video card check, resenting ram, changed internal battery.  Still nothing.  Any suggestions from the community would be appreciated.  Thanks.

Hello there, It looks like some kind of hardware or Software incompatibility now. So please try the following steps.

1. Please perform a hard reset on your HP notebook. Disconnect the power cord and remove the battery (if removable). Now
press and hold the power button for 30 seconds. Afterwards reconnect the battery and the power supply. And Now try to
power it back on.

2. If Step 1 doesn't work then shut down the pc completely. And now power back on and immediately start tapping the F10 key to boot into BIOS. If BIOS page is visible then Press F9 key (BIOS defaults) and hit enter. ANd then Exit Saving changes.

That should resolve your issue.

For any additional help I am always available on HP Forum on fb and gmail. Thanks.

Step 1 did not work.  Step 2, the bios page came up, I followed instructions then pc went back to blank page.  Any other suggestions? Thanks.

Hello Patty,

Sorry to know that your pc is still not booting into windows. Please try the following step-

shut down the pc completely. And now power back on and immediately start tapping the 'esc' key.

And check if you get the 'Start Up menu'

If 'esc' key doesn't work then check with the 'F11' next.

Let me know how that worked.

Thanks.
