I’m trying to start my laptop and all I keep receiving is this message “blinitializelibrary failed 0xc00000bb”. I’ve tried looking up different videos to find answers but nothing is working

1. Power Cycle the Laptop
A simple power cycle can sometimes resolve boot issues.
Turn off the Laptop:
- Press and hold the power button until the laptop turns off.
Unplug the Laptop:
- Disconnect the power adapter and remove any connected peripherals.
Wait for a Few Minutes:
- Wait for about 2-3 minutes to ensure all residual power is drained.
Plug in and Turn on the Laptop:
- Reconnect the power adapter and turn on the laptop.
2. Access BIOS/UEFI Settings
Check the BIOS/UEFI settings to ensure everything is configured correctly.
Enter BIOS/UEFI:
- Turn on the laptop and immediately start pressing the Esc or F10 key repeatedly until the BIOS/UEFI menu appears.
Reset BIOS to Default Settings:
- Navigate to the option that allows you to reset BIOS/UEFI settings to their defaults. This option is usually found under the Exit or Save & Exit tab.
Save and Exit:
- Save the changes and exit the BIOS/UEFI settings.
3. Check Boot Order

Please find the next set of steps below.
4. Run Automatic Repair
Use a Windows installation media to run Automatic Repair.
Create Windows Installation Media:
- Use another computer to download the Windows 10 or 11 ISO file and create a bootable USB drive using the Microsoft Media Creation Tool or Windows 11 Media Creation Tool.
Boot from USB Drive:
- Insert the bootable USB drive into your laptop and turn it on.
- Press Esc or F9 repeatedly to access the boot menu, and select the USB drive to boot from it.
Select Repair Your Computer:
- When the Windows Setup screen appears, select Repair your computer.
Troubleshoot and Automatic Repair:
- Go to Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Repair.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the automatic repair process.
5. Rebuild Boot Configuration Data (BCD)
Use Command Prompt to rebuild the BCD.
Boot from USB Drive:
- Boot from the Windows installation media as described above.
Select Repair Your Computer:
- When the Windows Setup screen appears, select Repair your computer.
Open Command Prompt:
- Go to Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Command Prompt.
Run BCD Repair Commands:
In the Command Prompt, enter the following commands one by one, pressing Enter after each:
Restart the Laptop:
- After running the commands, close the Command Prompt and restart your laptop.
