To better understand the issue, could you please provide a few more details?

 

  • Did you recently install any updates, new hardware, or make changes to BIOS/UEFI settings?

Here are a few initial troubleshooting steps you can try:

 

  • Power cycle your PC: Shut it down completely, disconnect the power cable , wait a minute, then reconnect and power on.
  • Check boot order in BIOS/UEFI: Restart your computer, press the BIOS key (often F10, Esc, or Del depending on your HP model), and confirm that your hard drive/SSD is listed as the first boot device.
  • Run HP Hardware Diagnostics: On startup, press F2 to access diagnostics and run a test on the hard drive.
