I have a recently purchased this PC. Shortly after I started using it I requested through MSCONFIG to boot into Windows Safe Mode.
A box warned me that it would ask me for the bitlocker code and after my OK the pc restarted. The boot does not proceed, with the HP logo in the center of the screen, and the circle with the dots continues to spin.
It remained like this for more than one day so I turned it off.
If I try to boot from a USB stick to reinstall Windows it tells me that there is no hard drive.
How can I proceed? I am also willing to reset the pc to initial conditions. Thank you.
(sorry for my bad english language)

In short, you can't -- boot into the PC anymore. That is why BitLocker is there -- to prevent unauthorized access to your drive -- which bypassing normal booting is interpreted as being.
You should have used the Manage BitLocker function to export your key to a file and/or to print it. There is probably no way to do that now since you forced it into Safe Mode.
If your PC is a 2016 model or newer, you should see if you can make a bootable USB recovery drive using the HP cloud recovery tool on a working PC.
The recovery drive can then be used to install Win10 and the HP drivers and utilities that originally came with your PC.

I thank you. I have made many other attempts but your suggestion was the only way to fix the problem.
Now my PC is as it was when I took it out of the box upon purchase, but I have my System Backup and can restore it to how it was just before the problem.
Then I will be careful to operate correctly with BitLocker.
Thanks again and ciao.
