i tried to install windows 11 with usb flash drive. when i restarted computer with windows media inserted, i got error message "BOOTMGR corrupt. cannot boot system." how do i correct this problem?

Sounds to me like you just plugged the flash drive in the USB port and expected the PC to automatically boot from the flash drive.

 

In order to boot from a USB flash drive you have to have it in the USB port but when you turn on or restart the notebook, you have to immediately tap the ESC key to get the menu of options.

 

Then you select the F9 boot options menu and from that, you select the W11 USB flash drive and press the Enter key.


Then the PC should boot from the flash drive and begin to load the Windows installation files.
