can not create a bios recovery usb

I am trying to recover my bios by USB, but when i try to install the bios into my usb my pc does not allow me.

i can not past from this.

Not only that but when i try in my other computer the installer shutdown my internet card and a i need to restart my computer for connect to the internet again.

Good Day.  Thank you for posting your query in the HP community.  I read the post regarding assistance to create a USB bios flash recovery drive. I will be delighted to assist you here.

Superb description and commendable diagnosis of the issue before posting. Kudos to you for that. 

For better clarity and to assist you better I would require more information regarding this:

  • Did you create the USB bios recovery for the same computer model?

Your notebook is not new enough to have the type of BIOS download files that allow being made from a different PC and installed to a USB flash drive.

 

What you can do is create an HP 3-in-1 Diagnostics  USB flash drive that may allow you to recover your BIOS. See the following website.

Did this issue happen because of an attempt to update the BIOS?
