chromebook 11 cb2 not powering on

hello everyone, 

I purchased the above chromebook off eBay as a spares or repair project, I quickly established that the battery was dead, as it was pretending to be a traffic light when the charger was plugged in, I have replaced the battery and have plugged it in using a phone fast charger, since the it didnt come with a charger and success the orange light is on, however still nothing happening when i try and power it on , nothing happens when I lift the lid, when i press the power button the charging light goes off then comes back on, i have tried the hard reset technique using the power and refresh buttons to no avail, if anyone has any other ideas I would be grateful.

Kindly look for a compatible charger and check if the issue persists. Also, make sure you have tried the steps mentioned in Chromebook Does Not Power On or Charge Battery.

If the issue persists, this could be a hardware failure. Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options.
