I have an HP 15 Omen laptop that has randomly been shutting off for a while now. I had the battery replaced after it displayed some swelling but the problem persisted. Now I'm getting a cmos checksum error when starting my laptop and it will only run while plugged in. When the laptop is on the battery life reads at 0% even when plugged in long enough for it to be charged up.
