Thank you for responding,
It's great to have you back 😉
I'm afraid it's not as easy as it looks,
Also, that's not an accurate description of the blinks and here's why:
2.2 (blink)
Caps Lock LED blinks slow 2 times followed by 2 quick blinks - The main area (DXE) of BIOS has become corrupted, and there is no recovery binary image available. (Also happens when updating the BIOS.) - Perform BIOS recovery with external media (USB or CD-ROM). For information on how to restore the BIOS refer to the HP support document: HP Notebook PCs - Restoring the BIOS.
4.4 (blink/beep)
Caps Lock LED blinks slow 4 times followed by 4 quick blinks, accompanied by beeps (lower tone and higher tone) - A GPU (graphics processing unit) overheating condition has been detected.
So on and so forth...Refer to this link (again) for more details: Click here

Thank you for posting on HP Forums,
Riddle_Decipher is at your service.
As I Understand the computer screen is black, WiFi light is orange & the caps lock button flashing,
No worries, as I'll be glad to help you, that said, I'll need a few more details to dissect your concern & provide an accurate solution:
What is the product number of your device? Use this link to find it: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03754824
(Ensure you do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc...).
Was there a recent update interrupted due to a power surge or otherwise?
How many times are the caps lock LED flashing?
(Please mention the sequence for more details).
While you respond to that, here's what you need to do:
Click here to troubleshoot: Computer Does Not Start and Emits a LED or Beep Code
If your computer was released/purchased after the April 2015:
(Look under BIOS flashing light error codes for computers released after April 2015)
Let me know how that pans out
I hope you have a good day ahead,
And Feel free to ask any other queries as well,
Considering, this forum has some of the best people in the world available and ready to help.
