@HungPhatlee, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you're trying to install a clean, bloatware-free version of Windows 11 on your new HP laptop, but you're encountering a "missing drivers" error during installation. This is a common issue, especially when the installation media lacks the necessary storage or USB drivers.
Here’s how you can resolve it:
Use HP Cloud Recovery Tool (Recommended for HP PCs)
If you're open to using HP's official method, the HP Cloud Recovery Tool creates a clean Windows image with all necessary drivers:
- Download from: HP Cloud Recovery Tool
- Follow the instructions to create a bootable USB drive.
This method ensures all required drivers (especially storage and chipset) are included.

Add Missing Drivers Manually to Installation Media
If you prefer using your own Windows 11 ISO:
A. Identify Missing Drivers
- Most often, it's the Intel RST (Rapid Storage Technology) or USB 3.0 drivers.
- Download Intel RST drivers from HP:

B. Inject Drivers into USB Installation Media
- On another PC:
- Download and extract the driver files.
- Copy them to a folder on your Windows 11 USB (e.g., USB:\Drivers).
- During installation, when prompted for drivers, click Browse, navigate to the Drivers folder, and select the appropriate .inf file.
Use Rufus to Create a Clean Windows 11 USB (No TPM/Secure Boot)
If you're using Rufus to create the bootable USB:
- Make sure to select the option to remove TPM and Secure Boot checks.
- Use the latest ISO from Microsoft’s official site.
Additional Tips:
- Use a USB 2.0 port if available (some USB 3.0 ports may not be supported during early install stages).
- Ensure BIOS is updated

I hope this helps.
