I bought a new laptop and made errors in the initial setup (failure to proofread before hitting enter). Not I can't sign in. How can I get back to start the initial setup over again? It expects me to sign in to a nonexistent email address (on hotmaill.com -- note two 'l's. Really want to be able to use this laptop on Tuesday 2/8 so must fix ASAP. How do I get it to reset to factory defaults?

Newer laptops have SSDs and those are too small to include recovery files -- so you have to resort to creating and using external media.
If your PC is a 2016 model or newer, you should see if you can make a bootable USB recovery drive using the HP cloud recovery tool on a working PC.
The recovery drive can then be used to install Win10 and the HP drivers and utilities that originally came with your PC.
