Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I have a failure ID :  U4LC2M 966B6V GXGJ2J 60W203 which points to the HDD. My question is how to get the microsoft license for a new SSD which I will install. The HDD is not going to work so any suggestions would be great.

Hi:

 

The Windows product key/license is encrypted in your notebook's BIOS.

 

You don't need it to reinstall W10.

 

Your PC is supported by the HP cloud recovery tool which will allow you to make a bootable USB recovery drive with the HP cloud recovery tool that will reinstall W10, the drivers and the software that originally came with your PC.

 

You will need a 32 GB USB flash drive to create the recovery media with, and access to another PC running W7 64 bit or newer.
