Solved!

forgot admin password on laptop

HP255 G6 Notebook
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My 45 year old son was in a diabetic coma for 10 days.

(He is a Type 1 diabetic)

We picked all of his stuff up, including his laptop at his rent house.

But he can't remember any passwords or anything that is even slightly complicated anymore.

I know there is a way to recover the administrator and the windows 10 passwords, but it looks as if they all cost, and with his diabetes supplies and doctors, we're really strapped right now.

I made a small attempt to remove the back, so I could remove the CMOS battery, but I was really scratching it up.

The number after system disabled is:  9240994

I appreciate any help.

Thanks

Joe

@GERONIMOEJOE

Removing the CMOS battery in laptops, unlike desktops, accomplishes nothing.

I know we used to provide Disabled Bypass Codes -- but we're not allowed to do that anymore.

I wish we could help you, but sorry, due to changes in Community policy, we are no longer able to provide any assistance with password reset or recovery issues.
