Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

  • Did this happen after a recent window or software update?
  • Have you made any hardware/software changes?
  • Are you instaling a new hard drive? If yes then try removing and then reseating your Hard Drive to see if that helps.

While you respond to that, let's try these steps and arrive at a fix:

  • Power off the laptop.
  • Remove the battery out. If the battery is integrated then leave the battery inside the laptop.
  • Disconnected AC adapter from the laptop.
  • Press and hold the power button for 15 seconds.
  • Reconnect the battery and plug the AC adapter.
  • Power ON the laptop.

If the hard disk error continues to appear then I suggest you perform the steps as described in detail from this HP document.
Boot Device Not Found Error or Hard Drive Not Detectedhttps://support.hp.com/ie-en/document/c01443463 These steps usually help in isolating and fixing the hard disk errors.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
