I am currently using Windows 10 and have been experiencing difficulties signing into my laptop. I continuously receive the error message "Your account has been disabled. Please consult your system administrator." Despite attempting various solutions found online, none of them have been successful. Consequently, I believe it is necessary to perform a factory reset on this computer. However, when I attempted the method of pressing the ESC button during restart to access the 'troubleshooting' menu, my laptop did not provide any options for resetting the system. In this situation, how can I perform a factory reset on this computer?

Hi:
The only suggestion I can offer would be to see if your PC is supported by the HP cloud recovery tool, which will create a bootable recovery drive that will reinstall Windows, the drivers and the software that originally came with your PC.
It will partition and format the drive, you will lose all data currently stored on the hard drive and it will factory reset your notebook's drive to its 'out of the box' condition.
Here is an info link for how to use the utility...You will need a 32 GB USB flash drive to create the recovery media with.

Since you have to use another PC to run the cloud recovery tool you will need to enter your PC's full product number in the tool's search window,
There are 3 different product numbers for your notebook, so you need to enter the correct one to see if your PC is supported.
The full product number would be one of those listed and you have to add #ABA
For example: 2D115AV#ABA
You can download the HP cloud recovery tool from the Microsoft Store
