pavillion x2 detachable

hello i keep having the <3FO> screen come up with only the f2 option available i have run the storage and memory test and they both passed they are the only options other than language available. my problem is how do i get from here to the bios set up? i know about the power and volume key but now after following some bad advice on youtube it no longer works because i have the administrator password come up first. i know the password but it takes me back to the 3FO page and i dont know how to move from here any ideas would be great thanks

@CHARCOLE,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

I reviewed your post and I understand that you are getting 3F0 error when you start the computer.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

I recommend you follow the below steps and check if it helps.

  1. Start or restart the computer.
  2. Press F10 repeatedly during start up to enter the BIOS configuration utility.
  3. Check Legacy Support and disable if it is enabled:

    System Configuration > Boot Options > Legacy Support

    or

    Boot Options > legacy Support
  4. If Legacy Support is DISABLED, save the changes and exit

    If Legacy Support is ENABLED, change it to DISABLED, save the changes and exit

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!

If you wish to show appreciation for my efforts, mark my post as Accept as Solution. Your feedback counts!

Cheers!
