hp elitebook 6930p
Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

i had a hp elitebook 6930p laptop with  windows 7 vista , at first i had the start up problem which hangs at the welcome logo ,

then i entered into the safe mode and done the cmd of chkdsk C: /f command ,it shows the volume is in work and schuduled to restart ..after that the system sccaned the c drive and problem has solved for that instant...

. and for the next start up the same problem is repeated ..

  and i had done every possible diogonist like f8 with start up repair , memory check, and entered into the bio and checked for solutio

n but the error message in the bios start up test shows error : reading error error reading ..... so please help me out of this recuring problem... thanking you sir...

Welcome to the HP Support forum.

 

If you performed >> BIOS diagnostics/start up diagnostics <<, and if you got some sort of reading error, I can assume this was related to your storage device / hard disk drive HDD. Can you confirm this ? Did you get some error code from the tests ?
