Hi@Kazmi7,

Welcome to the HP Support Community! I'd like to help!

I see you are experiencing issues with the HP Pavilion not able to update Bios

I have a few recommendations

  • Update your Notebook computer to the latest BIOS from HP.COM or HP support assistant if available.
  • Make sure the Windows and HP support assistant updates are up to date.

i think this bios Update sp105787 is not unpacking the files properly to create a proper u USB to update the BIOS

i did try your methods but Device Manager >> Firmware >> System Firmware >>> Update Driver >>>
it cant find the Update on USB & showing me this message
THE BEST DRIVER FOR YOUR DEVICE IS ALREADY INSTALLED
which is not true as my installed Bios are 4/5 years old

Hi@Kazmi7,

Thank you for responding, I appreciate your time and effort.

May I know the version of Bios you are trying to install it on the PC?

Is it Windows 10 Home 64?

The HP Cloud Recovery Tool allows you to download recovery software to a USB drive. You can use the downloaded recovery image file in order to install the Windows operating system.
