When I started my hp pavilion laptop (model:14-bk061st) this morning, it showed “preparing automatic repair” message. I ran the HP diagnosis tool, it showed “hard drive DST check failed” with the error Id “MC545F-80GA2J-MFPURF-60S403”. The product id is 1KT93UA#ABA. Could you please give me some help on this problem?

Hi:
The error code translates to one word...Failed.
You would need to replace the hard drive and reinstall the operating system.
Below is the link to the service manual, where you can find the hard drive removal and replacement procedure.

After you replace the drive, you can reinstall W10, the drivers and the software that originally came with your notebook, by making a USB recovery drive using the HP cloud recovery tool.
Here is an info link for how to use that utility..

I fixed the problem of my laptop. Actually it was due to the bad memory. I replaced the memory and the laptop works fine now. I do not need to replace the hard drive or reinstall any software. The bad memory problem was also found during the HP diagnosis test.
