I have same problem with laptop just like you.
I had buy new Samsung SSD and it work well, but I want to enable HW encryption on new ssd. So it require Secure erase. After creation new bootable USB flash drive and reboot - laptop can't find this bootable usb drive.
I need to:
- Use Samsung Magician to create bootable usb drive.
- Enable Legacy mode.
- Boot from usb drive.
- Run Secure erase on new SSD.
- Install clean windows with enabled HW encryption.
There is no solution in internet for new Spectre laptop. Who can help us? =(
