Getting restarted every time I wake it up from sleep mode! And that's the message I see for a second before it restarts automatically.

Hi @DipanjanBh,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

Thanks for the update. The error message you're seeing, “PAGE FAULT IN NONPAGED AREA”, is a Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) that typically occurs due to:  Faulty or outdated drivers (e.g., graphics, storage, chipset), Corrupted system files within Windows, Faulty hardware, such as RAM or your SSD, Or Conflicts with third-party software or antivirus programs or Power state transition issues (e.g., waking from sleep)

Recommended Fixes for HP Spectre x360 (Windows 11)

1. Update All Drivers and BIOS

  • Use HP Support Assistant or visit the HP Spectre x360 14-ef0000 drivers page.
  • Update:
    • Intel Graphics and Chipset drivers
    • Intel Management Engine Interface
    • BIOS
    • Storage drivers (Intel Rapid Storage Technology)

2. Disable Fast Startup

  • Go to Control Panel > Power Options > Choose what the power buttons do
  • Click Change settings that are currently unavailable
  • Uncheck Turn on fast startup
  • Save and restart

3. Run Memory and Storage Diagnostics

  • Restart and press Esc, then F2 to open HP Diagnostics
  • Run:
    • Memory Test
    • Storage Test

4. Check for Corrupted System Files

Open Command Prompt as Administrator and run: sfc /scannow

Then run: DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

5. Disable Sleep Mode Temporarily

  • Go to Settings > System > Power & battery > Screen and sleep
  • Set Sleep to Never for both battery and plugged in
  • This helps confirm if sleep transitions are causing the issue

I hope this helps.

Take care, and have an amazing day!
