Since the last Windows update, I have had to choose btween two volumes (both numbered 3) for Windows 11. After choosing one the startup continued as usual. After choosing the second, a black screen appeared and you could only see the cursor. I tried to get rid of this and chose cuurent system in configsys file. After that the laptop keeps restarting, the HP logo appears and then nothing and the loop continues

@grygregi, Welcome to HP Support Community,
Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue
Turn it on and keep pressing F11 to enter recovery mode. Choose Startup Repair and let Windows try to fix itself.
In Advanced Options, go to Startup Settings > Restart > Safe Mode with Networking. If it boots, uninstall the last update in Settings > Windows Update.
If nothing helps, go to Advanced Options > System Restore and roll back to a previous state. If no restore point is available, try Reset this PC (choose "Keep My Files" if possible).
Also, refer this guide: HP PCs - Computer does not turn on, start, or boot | HP® Support
I hope these steps help resolve the issue
