Hi @mimmisoup,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like your HP ENVY X360 laptop is not responding to attempts to power it on. Here are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot this issue.

Perform a Hard Reset:

  • Disconnect the laptop from any power source (unplug the charger).
  • Remove the battery if it's removable.
  • Press and hold the power button for about 15 seconds to discharge any residual power.
  • Reinsert the battery (if removable) and plug in the charger.
  • Try powering on the laptop again.

Check Power Adapter and Connections:

  • Ensure that the power adapter is securely plugged into both the laptop and the power outlet.
  • Try using a different power outlet or a different power adapter if available, to rule out a faulty adapter or outlet.

Inspect for Physical Damage:

  • Check the laptop for any signs of physical damage, such as cracks or dents, especially around the power button area.
  • Inspect the power button itself to ensure it's not stuck or damaged.

Reset BIOS/UEFI Settings:

  • Sometimes, resetting the BIOS/UEFI settings can resolve power-related issues.
  • Depending on your laptop model, you may need to press a specific key combination during startup to access BIOS settings.

Check for LED Indicators or Error Codes:

  • Look for any LED indicators that might give clues about the laptop's status (such as battery charge or system error).
  • Refer to your laptop's user manual for specific LED indicator meanings.

These steps should help you diagnose and hopefully resolve the issue with your HP ENVY X360 not powering on.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
