Product: HP Pavilion Laptop PC 15-eh0507sa
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Hi. My hp laptop powers on , shows power on light and fan is making a noise. But the screen is blank and keyboard does not work. Ive tried using an external keyboard, but that does not work, so im presuming usb sockets are not working either. Ive disconnected battery and reconnected it but still no joy. Ive also swapped ram to other socket, but still nothing. Anyone had this happen or any suggestions what to try next/. Many thanks, Gary.

Sorry to hear that you are having problems ... I would like to help you.

 

(1) Double check with external monitor connected via vga/hdmi cable.

Do you see boot screen and Windows loading ?

 

- Power off external monitor

- Connect vga/hdmi cable

- Power on external monitor

- Power on notebook

 

(2) Please report your results
