Guys Please help me to get the cause of it.

one morning i noticed my trackpad mouse arrow doesn't move anymore , i switched it off directly with power button , the result is not able to boot? laptop didn't boot for a day  just capslock blink 3 times slow then 2 quick times, after few hours it  started normally.

again next day I by mistake turned it off with power button and it didn't boot, this time for days , then i  applied little pressure on trackpad and it started , this time trackpad also started working, But i noticed my laptop state was the same as i left it last time , like it never shutdown ,

So , i closed the lid this time and it went to sleep mode, but now when i opened the lid again blank screen nothing on screen nothing , no button working except capslock single light, tried to wake it up with keypad but no nothing worked

So, i switched it off with power button and this time it booted up  with fresh state.

so what could be the issue? can someone confirm if i do not have to worry about motherboard as that maybe expensive.

Hey there! @rootakki14

Do you still see blinking lights on the caps lock?

Please share the product number of the PC to assist you better.

Three blinks on the caps lock indicate a memory failure.

As you are able to boot into the PC now, try updating the BIOS and chipset drivers on the PC the latest version and check if it helps.

Update the BIOS using this link. Click Here

Update the chipset drivers using this link. Click Here

Try the steps recommended below.

Reset a laptop with a removable battery

Turn off the computer.
Remove the computer from any port replicator or docking station.
Disconnect all external connected peripheral devices such as USB storage devices, external displays, and printers.
Unplug the AC adapter from the computer.
Remove the battery from the battery compartment.
With the battery and power cord unplugged, press and hold the Power button for about 15 seconds to drain any residual electrical charge from the capacitors.
Insert the battery and plug the AC adapter back into the laptop, but do not connect any of the peripheral devices.
Press the Power button to turn on the computer.
The computer starts normally or a startup menu opens.
If a startup menu opens, use the arrow keys to select Start Windows Normally, and then press the Enter key.
After Windows opens, reconnect each peripheral device that was disconnected, one device at a time, until all devices are reconnected.

If you are able to boot into BIOS try restoring the BIOS to default.

1.    Turn off the computer and wait five seconds.
2.    Press the Power button to start the computer and repeatedly press the F10 key to enter the BIOS setup menu.
3.    On the BIOS Setup screen, press F9 to select and load the BIOS Setup Default settings.
4.    Press F10 to Save and Exit.
5.    Use the arrow keys to select Yes, then press Enter when asked Exit Saving Changes?
6.    Follow the prompts to restart your computer.
