Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

so i plug in the power, with battery removed, press the power button and the screen just stay black

error indicator that i have is
3x slow blink on the capslock button 

wireless light is on with no blink

no beeping sound

 

i checked my RAM,

every RAM on any RAM slots available showing the same error light indicator

im strarting to think its my motherboard 

any answer will be very appreciated thanks.

Thank you for posting in the HP Support Community.

 

3 blinks of the CAPS lock is a clear sign of memory slots or memory chips.

If reseating the memories didn't help, you should try with different chips (completely different ones) because your existing one(s) may be broken.

 

If you have 2 chips and 2 slots, you can test by removing one of the memory chips and leave only the other one to see if this is a failure in one of them, and this way test the 2 chips one by one.

 

 

If nothing helps, it may be the motherboard or the slots themselves. If it doesn't help, you need to have the PC serviced. How to contact HP Support team for your country/region >> https://support.hp.com/id-en/contact-hp
