HP elitebook 840 g1
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

i am using an hp elitebook 840 g1 and i have forgotten my bios password, i have tried unpluging the CMOS battery and i left it unplugged overnight after this the laptop did say the bios had reset but i tried to get in and the password is still there....ive looked into backdoor passwords but i cant find anything for hp....i suspect the password is seperatly stored somewhere else on the motherboard....but tbh i dont wanna replace my whole dam motherboard..... i cant think of any other ways i can reset the password, tha is why i came here.. please help!
