@Hchbvjbvv Welcome to HP Community!

I understand that you are getting CMOS to reset 502 errors.

To provide you with an accurate solution, I'll need a few more details:

Have you tried to update the Bios using HP Support Assistant.

Have you tried to do a bios recovery on your PC.

Let's start off by performing a Hard reset on the notebook

Before power resetting your computer, do the following:

  1. Disconnect or remove all peripheral devices. Start up the laptop and test the computer by itself, and then reconnect one peripheral device at a time.

  2. Turn over the computer and look for a battery compartment door.

 I recommend to restore the BIOS defaults. You could restore the BIOS with this document selecting the reloading the BIOS default settings. That way it will look at the Hardware installed on the Notebook.

Once done, restart the computer and check.

The best way to resolve this issue is to revert the BIOS to the previous working version and here's how you do it:

The laptop doesn't charge I can't do the hard reset. Before the laptop stopped charging I restored the bios to default and updated it but it didn't help I also ran a battery diagnostic (there was no problems) it was the short one 5minutes I guess  and now I can't go the previous bios version because the laptop doesn't open

Banhien

(an expert in this community)told me to do a battery diagnostic and tell him the result but the post got deleted for unknown reasons and I couldn't reach him I'm thinking about buying a new battery but I'm afraid of getting the same problem thanks for helping

hello

as you said i replaced the battery but the problem is not solved  the new battery was charged to 70%  so i did as you said in the previous responde (revert the BIOS to the previous working version )  and it did not work as well.

once i opend the laptop this error showd off

( the cmos checksum is invaild. the cmos will be reset to default cnofiguration and will be rebooted please check your Bios setup options

to see if they change )
