@nhletelo, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your PC that keeps booting!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I understand how frustrating it must be to have your laptop continuously rebooting, especially when you're trying to get work done. Let's troubleshoot this together and see if we can get your HP Notebook back to normal.

Check for Overheating:

If your laptop overheats, it might restart to protect itself. Try cleaning the air vents and ensuring it's placed on a hard, flat surface for proper airflow.

Perform a Hard Reset:

Disconnect the charger and remove the battery (if removable).

Press and hold the power button for about 15 seconds.

Reconnect the battery and charger, then power it back on.

Check for Windows Errors:

If your taskbar isn’t working along with the reboot issue, it could be a system file error.

Try booting into Safe Mode:

Turn off your laptop.

Power it on and immediately start pressing F8 or Esc + F11 (depending on your model) to enter recovery options.

Select Advanced Options > Startup Settings > Safe Mode and check if the issue persists.

Update or Rollback Drivers:

Corrupted drivers can cause boot loops. If you can access Safe Mode, update or roll back recent driver changes, especially display and chipset drivers.

Run Hardware Diagnostics:

Restart your laptop and immediately press F2 to enter HP Hardware Diagnostics.

Run a quick System Test to check for hardware issues.

I hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
