HP Notebook - 17t-by000 CTO
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I have a HP 17t Notebook that has operated great for over 5 years.  Suddenly yesterday, I tuned it on as I usually do but instead of booting up my opening screen, it went black, said it was searching for a problem.  It then went to blue screen and said problem could not be found, restart.  Tried that, same result.  anther option was given for advanced options.  There were six possibilities, one of which was to do a system restore.  Clicked that, showed my correct email, and name then asked for password.  Have done system restore before on this and many other computers I've had in the past but it never asked for a  password.  I have several passwords that I have used over the years and since I've owned this computer, I know all of them.  I tried one after the other to no avail.  It will not accept any password I try.  How do I reset the password from this point?   I have ordered a new HP laptop as of yesterday but I need to get this one open again.  HELP !!!
