@14-dq2078wm, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issu

Identify the LED Pattern (Blink Code)

HP laptops use LED blink codes to indicate specific issues.

A pattern of blinks (e.g., 3 long, 2 short)

Carefully observe the power LED or caps lock/num lock LEDs when attempting to boot

You may refer to this guide: support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_1997719-1528356-16

Hard Reset (Power Drain)

Perform a power reset to clear any residual electrical charge.

Unplug the power adapter

Remove the battery (if removable; if not, continue)

Press and hold the power button for 15–20 seconds

Plug in the charger (without the battery if removable)

Try powering on

External Display Test

Connect the laptop to an external monitor using HDMI

Press F4 or Fn + F4 to toggle displays

If the external display works, the internal screen or ribbon cable might be the issue

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
